The Orchestra of the League of Composers returns to Miller Theatre to begin a year-long celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the League of Composers. The concert features music of New York composers Eleanor Cory, Edward Smaldone, and Jessica Meyer, the latter two represented by world premiere concerti for piano and amplified viola respectively. Soloists include Niklas Sivelöv (piano) and Jessica Meyer (viola) in her own work; Music Director Louis Karchin and Edward Smaldone will conduct.
